The size and shape of the buttocks play an essential role in the proportions of our bodies. Unfortunately, some people are never able to achieve the adequate size or shape needed to complement the rest of their figures. Additionally, those who exercise in an attempt to improve their appearance may also find it difficult to attain their desired shape. The Brazilian Butt Lift surgery was created to resolve that problem via a simple surgical procedure. At Body by Poly, our skilled plastic surgeon can provide you with the fuller, rounder buttock contour in no time.

A Brazilian Butt Lift is a specialized operation that involves the transfer of fat from a different region in the body into the buttock. This relocation of fat augments the size and shape of the buttocks without implants. Typically, the excess fat used in the surgery is removed from the hips, abdomen, lower back, or thighs via liposuction. The best part of the procedure is that results tend to last for many years without much need for follow-up treatments.
SANTA BARBARA BRAZILIAN BUTT LIFT PROCEDURE
The surgery is typically performed as an outpatient procedure. When you come in for your surgery, you will be put under general anesthesia or intravenous sedation and local anesthesia. After that, fat will be removed from your trouble areas and injected into your buttocks. The initial injection may involve a greater amount of fat than is needed to ensure that the fat properly “takes” and your final results of the procedure most closely match your desired goals.
EXPECTED RESULTS
Brazilian Butt Lift results typically last for many years. The fat cells removed from your trouble area via liposuction will not return to the area, and the fat cells that survive the transfer to the buttocks will remain. However, significant weight fluctuations can affect your results, so it is important that you maintain a stable weight. Recovery from the surgery involves using a “donut” pillow while seated, but normal sitting can be resumed after about eight weeks. Following all of our instructions after your operation should allow you to resume light daily activities within one week after surgery and return to work within 10-14 days.
